Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA)

Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) at Apex College is a four-year, 126 credit-hour program of Pokhara University. The program aims to prepare students as professionals who have knowledge, skill, confidence, and motivation to perform competitively in organizations of the modern age.

The BBA program is a practical and valuable means of gaining a business qualification that provides an exposure to the challenges of doing business in a global context. The program has a wide coverage of conceptual inputs and has emphasis on practical applications that familiarize students with the overall functioning of organizations and their interactions with the total environment within which they operate.

Objectives

• The BBA program seeks to develop graduates who:
• have a sound knowledge base and proper conceptual underpinnings of business and management;
• are well acquainted with the broader contexts of business organizations in Nepal and the wider world;
• are independent, critical and creative thinkers with analytical and problem-solving skills;
• are competent in written and oral communication, including the ability to use electronic media and computers for Business communication;
• have the ability to work in teams and individually.

Every organization, irrespective of its nature, size or location, needs human resources trained in the field of management. The BBA program at Apex prepares students to join at entry level in any of marketing, finance, accounting, human resources or information system functions of social and business organizations within or outside the country.

Organizations in manufacturing or service, private or public, domestic or international, small or large, profit making or non-profit making sectors recruit a number of BBA degree holders. Students, upon completion of BBA program with specialization in one of various functional areas of management, will have opportunities to join commercial banks, finance companies, insurance companies, and other organizations in hotel and tourism sectors in Nepal.
